Lane Closures on I-4 in Orlando This Week

Where: I-4 in Orange County near City of Orlando

When: Sunday, February 17 – Saturday, 23

8:00 pm – 6:00 am

Details:
Eastbound and westbound I-4 lanes are affected.
Lane closures will be in effect as follows:
Eastbound single outside lanes from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Eastbound double outside lanes from 10:00 pm to 12:30 am
Eastbound triple outside lanes from 12:30 am to 1:00 am
Eastbound and westbound triple outside lanes from 1:00 am to 5:00 am
Eastbound and westbound double outside lanes from 5:00 am to 5:30 am
All lanes are scheduled to reopen each day in time for the morning rush.
The contractor will be pouring the first section of the second bridge deck over I-4

Florida Governor Scott approves $2 billion I-4 Project

Gov. Rick Scott and the Florida Department of Transportation approved on Friday a $2 billion plan to improve Interstate 4 in Orange County and Seminole County. Night Lane Closures on I-4 Between Exits 1 and 3

TAMPA — One lane may be closed on eastbound and westbound I-4 between 22nd Street (Exit 1) and 50th Street (Exit 3) from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Friday through Saturday (February 1 – 9) nights. Two lanes may be closed after 10:00 p.m. these same nights. Up to three lanes may be closed on eastbound I-4 in the same area from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
