Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing overnight I-4 off ramp closure at Fairbanks Avenue (S.R. 426) in Orange County on Wednesday, August 20.
The closure will begin as early as 10:00 p.m. and are expected to reopen by 5:00 a.m. the following morning. This closure is necessary for road work on the ramp.
Motorists can expect the following overnight ramp closure:
Wednesday night, August 20:
- Westbound I-4 exit ramp to Fairbanks Avenue, Exit 87
I-4 Detour Information for August 20 Overnight Closure
Motorists traveling on westbound I-4 who wish to access Fairbanks Avenue will exit early at Lee Road (S.R. 423) (Exit 88), turning left onto eastbound Lee Road. From there, drivers will turn right onto southbound Wymore Road and proceed to Fairbanks Avenue.
FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
