The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that temporary closures of the westbound I-4 ramp to southbound I-75 will occur nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday, September 7, through Thursday, September 11, weather permitting.

Westbound motorists will have to detour around the work zone by continuing on I-4, exiting the interstate using Exit 7, staying right at the fork, merging onto southbound US 301, re-entering the interstate using the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp, and proceeding toward Exit 9 onto southbound I-75.

Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.

These temporary ramp closures are part of the ongoing concrete pavement repairs to I-75 from Broadway Avenue to SR 582 (Fowler Avenue) in Hillsborough County.
