The Florida Department of Transportation reports that weather permitting, both the eastbound and westbound I-4 Exit 9 ramps onto northbound I-75 may be closed between 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 1 and 5:00 a.m. Thursday, August 2. [If weather prevents the work Wednesday night, the ramps may be closed Thursday or Friday nights.]
Here are the detour routes for each ramp closure:
DETOUR for the eastbound I-4 Exit 9 closure: Keep right at the ramp split to go south on I-75, use Exit 260 to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard/SR 574, turn left at the top of the ramp and go east on SR 574 over I-75, then turn left and enter northbound I-75.
DETOUR for the westbound I-4 Exit 9 closure: Keep left at the ramp split to go south on I-75, use Exit 260 to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard/SR 574, turn left at the top of the ramp and go east on SR 574 over I-75, then turn left and enter northbound I-75.
