I-4 Traffic Detour January 5 and 6

Tampa, Florida — The Florida Department of Transportation is reporting that traffic may be detoured off both directions of I-4 between 22nd Street (Exit 1) and 50th Street (Exit 3) from 11:00 p.m. Sunday (January 5) to 3:00 a.m. Monday (January 6). Also, traffic will not be able to enter eastbound I-4 from 21st/22nd streets or to westbound I-4 from Columbus Drive/50th Street during the detours.

DETOURS: Eastbound I-4 traffic will be directed off at 21st Street (Exit 1), detoured south to SR 60 (Adamo Drive), east on SR 60, then north on 50th Street to re-enter eastbound I-4. Westbound traffic will be directed off at 50th Street (Exit 3), detoured south on 50th Street, west on SR 60, then north on 22nd Street to re-enter westbound I-4. Drivers can expect delays going through the detour route.
