The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with the reconstruction of the I-95 interchange leading to and from I-4 and U.S. 92.

  • Southbound I-95 off ramp to westbound I-4 closed Wednesday, June 12, 10 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Traffic will be directed to exit onto westbound U.S. 92 to access the westbound I-4 on ramp.
  • Eastbound and westbound U.S. 92 (International Speedway Boulevard) closed nightly, Wednesday – Friday, June 12-14, 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., including the eastbound U.S. 92 on ramp to northbound I-95 and the southbound I-95 off ramp to eastbound U.S. 92. Traffic heading to northbound I-95 will be directed to take Tomoka Farms Road north to LPGA Boulevard to access I-95. Southbound I-95 traffic can exit onto LPGA Boulevard and take Williamson Boulevard south to eastbound U.S. 92.
  • Sunday, June 9, to Saturday, June 15, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., single lane closures on northbound and southbound I-95 from U.S. 92 to south of I-4.
  • Eastbound U.S. 92 closed nightly near I-95, Sunday – Monday, June 16-17, 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., including the eastbound U.S. 92 on ramp to northbound I-95 and the southbound I-95 off ramp to eastbound U.S. 92. Eastbound U.S. 92 traffic can take Tomoka Farms Road north to LPGA Boulevard to access I-95. Southbound I-95 traffic can exit onto LPGA Boulevard and take Williamson Boulevard south to eastbound U.S. 92.

This project reconstructs the I-95 interchange leading to and from I-4 and U.S. 92, which will increase mobility and connectivity. It will also increase safety for merging, exiting and through-traffic. The project will eliminate a left-side merge ramp onto I-95 from U.S. 92, just a short distance to the south. Additional lanes will be constructed along I-95 allowing vehicles traveling through the area to continue in dedicated lanes, and vehicles entering and exiting I-95 to be separated into dedicated entrance and exit lanes.
