The Florida Department of Transportation reports that construction on I-4 from I-95 to DeLand will result in the following traffic impacts thru September 24, 2016.
- Friday, September 23rd from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., I-4 eastbound and westbound outside shoulder closures from SR 44 to I-95.
- Friday, September 23rd from 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., I-4 eastbound and westbound lane closures as needed for maintenance of traffic, pavement markings and asphalt paving.
- Friday, September 23rd from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., I-4 eastbound and westbound outside shoulder closures from SR 44 to I-95.
- Friday, September 23rd from 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., I-4 eastbound and westbound lane closures as needed for maintenance of traffic, pavement markings and asphalt paving.
This construction project consists of widening I-4 to 6 lanes from east of SR 44 to west of I-95, and reconfiguration of the I-4 and US 92 Interchange. The existing left-hand exit from eastbound I-4 to US 92 will be changed to a right-hand exit. The project also includes three animal crossings.
