Hurricane Ian Update: Road Construction and Lane Closures Suspended in Tampa Bay Area

Hurricane Evacuation Route | I-4 Exit Guide

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has suspended all lane closures in the Tampa Bay area. With Hurricane Ian approaching, the Department has directed FDOT road and bridge contractors to temporarily suspend all operations on active construction projects within the projected path.

All available lanes will remain open on the interstate and State Road system in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties.
