The Florida Department of Transportation is reporting the following construction alerts associated with the I-4 Orlando Ultimate construction project currently in progress in the Orlando Metro area.
Important Notice
Major detours for the week of Aug. 30 includes one long-term road closure, one permanent road closure, two overnight road closures, one daytime road closure and two overnight ramp closures.
- Cornell Avenue from Ivanhoe Boulevard to Princeton Street is closing long term on Aug. 30 beginning at 10 p.m.
- Pembrook Drive at Keller Road is closing permanently on Aug. 31 beginning at 8 p.m.
- Northbound and southbound Hope Road at Maitland Boulevard; Aug. 30-31, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Beginning the morning of Aug. 31, a long-term traffic shift is planned for westbound Maitland Boulevard and Hope Road.
- Rio Grande Drive closed from Carter Street to Long Street under SR-408; Aug. 30-Sept. 4 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Westmoreland Drive closed from Carter Street to Long Street under SR-408; Aug. 30-Oct. 2 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Orange Blossom Trail ramp to westbound SR-408 closed; Aug. 30-Sept. 2 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Westbound I-4 ramp to Kirkman Road; Aug. 30-Sept. 4 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
