The Florida Department of Transportation is reporting the following construction alerts associated with the I-4 Orlando Ultimate construction project currently in progress in the Orlando Metro area.
Important Notice
Major detours for the week of Aug. 9 includes two daytime road closures, one nighttime road closure, a traffic shift and one nighttime ramp closure:
– Tampa Avenue closed from SR-408 to Long Street; Aug. 3-21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
– Westmoreland Drive closed under SR-408; July 27-Aug. 21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
– Rio Grande Avenue closed from Long Street to Carter Street; Aug. 9-14 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
– Rerouting traffic on Formosa Avenue at Minnesota Avenue to a temporary road begins Aug. 9.
– Westbound SR-408 ramp from Tampa Avenue; Aug. 10-12 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
