The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports a temporary closure of the southbound I-275 ramp (Exit 45B) to eastbound I-4 occurring nightly Sunday, February 18 and Monday, February 19 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.

Motorists will have to detour around the work zone by continuing south on I-275, exiting the interstate using Exit 45A (Jefferson Street), keeping left at the fork toward Downtown East, turning left onto Scott Street, and re-entering the interstate using the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp. Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area.

These ramp closures are necessary as crews perform construction activities as part of the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project. This project is expected to finish in 2027.
