Multiple I-4 Closures Occurring in Downtown Orlando in December

The I-4 Ultimate project is making gains throughout downtown Orlando as new bridges are being constructed and old bridges are being demolished.

Nightly and continuous closures are necessary to facilitate progress, and motorists should expect bright lights, noise and vehicle back-up alarms while crews remove sections of bridge deck. The following closures are scheduled to take place in December.

  • The westbound I-4 entrance ramp from South St. closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. until December 9.
  • The eastbound I-4 exit ramp to South St. closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. until December 9.
  • Rio Grande Ave. under I-4 closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until December 5.
  • Westmoreland Dr. under I-4 closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until December 7..
  • The eastbound I-4 exit to Kaley Ave. closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. until December 12.
  • The eastbound I-4 exit ramp to Orange Blossom Trail (State Road 441/17-92) closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. until December 6.
  • Amelia St. under I-4 closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until December 16.
  • Pine St. under I-4 closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. until December 16.
  • Livingston St. under I-4 closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until December 16.
  • Orange Ave. under S.R. 408 closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until December 9.
  • Church St. under I-4 closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until December 10.
  • Washington St. under I-4 closes nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until December 16.
